Don't know why chairs cost so much now days but they're okay. They feel quite sturdy and they are big enough to sit comfortably. I put some pillows on them as they were a bit too hard but that's to be expected. Overall good experience

Chairs are wobbly - returned for refund
Very poor quality. I bought 2 sets of chairs and assembled 3 of them - all turned out to be wobbly so the craftsmanship is obviously not good. It wasn't possible to assemble the 4th chair - one of the holes drilled for inserting a bolt was at a funny angle and the bolt got stuck in the wrong place. Definitely avoid this item.

Simple construction and assembly
Simple construction and assembly. Look carefully at the included instruction and it takes 10 minutes to assemble. Sturdy once assembled. Will not last forever but a good chair for now and then use.

These came flat packed but were very easy to put together by one person. Nice design, sturdy, deeper than expected and good value for the money. Fit the square seat pad pair (sold seperately) perfectly.

Classic looking sturdy chairs. Quite compact and don’t take up much space. Looks like wax could be added if a different finish is wanted. Easy to put together.

The instructions also advise you need the following: Rule, Phillips screwdriver (small & medium), Small hammer, Eye protection (when using a hammer or glue) - these are not supplied.

The chairs are made of Pine.
The Raye table and chairs, is also showing as pine. The table top has an Oak finish, but is still pine.

These chair are natural wood finish and have no lacquer or wax on them. They can be waxed to treat the wood. You are able to paint these however doing so will void any remaining warranty.
