Replaced a BQ own model.. TBH I expected more from this well known make. I think the previous model was better. More sturdy. Better grass box. Early days. However I haven't really used it much as I purchased it in the autumn just before the last lawn cuts before winter

Great Sturdy Mower
Bought this a few weeks ago as my lawn was ready for its first cut. It was relatively simple to put together and is so easy to use. Has a very large grass collection bag so less trips to the bin. One of its best features is how many choices of height for grass length - perfect for first few cuts. Looking forward to lowering the blades for a closer cut. It is on the heavy side but had a handle.

Don’t buy this lawn mover for the roller and strips, because that is not great. Don’t buy it for the full indicator on the grass bag because that doesn’t work. However, the lawn mover is light and easy to manoeuvre. It has a long lead too. I brought this a few weeks ago and it cut the first cut of the year with no problems. It was £94, so if it lasts a few years it good value for money.

Good mower, poor assembly instructions
Very pleased with the mower, less so with the poor assembly instructions which lacked detail and printed so small on near tissue paper that made identification, differentiation and precise positioning of the smaller components unnecessarily difficult. In the absence of clear diagram, recommend carefully working out exact cable routing in advance of assembly. Mows very well once assembled!

Easy to use
Such a good buy! I did some homework and this machine ticked all the boxes for me. Assembly of the handle was pretty easy, and I cut my grass this morning for the first time. I found the machine easy to handle and the grass box took all the cuttings easily. Very very pleased with this purchase.

Work horse!
I bought this after my petrol lawnmower finally gave up and even though it's corded, which we thought would be a pain after the petrol one, is actually not as annoying as first thought. Its is a work horse on our wild lawn which doesn't get cut as often as it should.

The comb on the side of the mower brushes grass into the blades to ensure you can cut right up to the edge of your lawn, reducing the amount of trimming required.
