About this product
This tall display cupboard gives you a smart way to show off collectables, ornaments or treasured keepsakes in plain view. It's narrow enough to fit against a hallway or living room wall without eating up floor space. The glass door, sides and back panel let you see everything inside from every angle. Four adjustable shelves mean you can arrange items at different heights to suit what you're displaying. Built-in LED lighting brings everything to life when you switch it on, so your pieces catch the eye even in low light.
The foot-switch sits within easy reach so you can turn the light on and off without bending or reaching around. All glass parts are tempered for safety, reducing the risk of sharp edges if knocked. Each shelf holds up to five kilogrammes, enough for books, ceramics or framed photos. Silver-coloured handles and feet give it a clean, modern finish. Wall fixings included to secure it safely if you've got children or pets. Self-assembly with clear instructions, one person can manage it. Covered by a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Beautiful piece
This is a beautiful piece of furniture , perfect size and plenty of shelf space for my glass collection, the crisp white light is lovely , very solid and well made so easy to put together, glass crisp and clear.

Bad product
It was difficult to put together, very unsteady and door is so unstable to open. Light is pathetic also.

Okay, but with some issues.
This cabinet looks good and is pretty easy to assemble. The downside is I'm struggling to see where the £170 it cost is represented. The unit isn't very robust/sturdy and can be twisted and the glass shelves wobble a little. If you're thinking of putting acrylic shelves in, the largest width you can go for is around 22/23 cm (for this single width unit anyway). Overall, it looks good but not terrific value for money in my opinion. Until the price comes down, go for a second hand ikea Detolf.

Disappointing
Delivered quickly and fairly simple to erect. However: While the quoted dimensions are correct, it’s easy to overlook the fact that the external frames are quite large, so the interior is smaller than you might expect. It’s too narrow for most risers that you might want to install to display smaller pieces (models in my case). When constructed there’s a half inch gap between the glass door and the side of the cabinet, so dust will intrude. Overall, disappointing, wish I’d done more research before buying.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the 4 Shelf 1 Door Display Cabinet - Silver: Each glass shelf has a maximum load weight of 5KG. The unit can hold more than 20KG in total, cause you can also place weight on the bottom shelf. This should be maximum load weight of 5KG per shelf.
