Brought for my 5yr old grandson as he loves red. So easy to put together.

This is a really nice bed, great transition from toddler bed to single bed as not too high, it did come with some scuff marks on but luckily a magic eraser worked. The bed was easily put together by my husband alone (we’ve put together our fair share of flat pack furniture!) the only downside to this bed is the headboard and bed end have holes in but they’re put on opposite ends so if bed is going against a wall it’s noticeable on one side or the other, I didn’t see this mentioned in any reviews before so I don’t know if we’re unlucky but was a little disappointed with the placement. They could have been out at the bottom so the mattress would hide it.

Brought for 2 daughters, easy to put together, really great looking in the different colours and with curved edges. They have said it's best nights sleep ever and love how steady it is (came from a bunk bed). Space underneath is great for storage boxes and toys to free up room space too. Brought two in green and purple. May need second person to help with putting base tubes in that mattress sits on. All fits easy together and sturdy frame

"Distance of support leg inset into the bed is approximately 16cm." (So the middle support legs are both set 16cm in from the outside edges of the bed).

"Children aged from approx. 18 months up to 4 years are recommended to be in toddler beds, and children 4years+ can sleep in “shorty” or kids-compliant single beds." This is because of safety considerations when children are younger, such as gaps posing entrapment risks.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Charlie Single Metal Bed Frame - White: It is not recommended to keep another mattress underneath the bed. The gap between the middle support legs is also not wide enough for a standard single mattress to fit between.
