Lovely bed
Very happy. Managed to put it together on my own, came as expected and packaged well and looks identical to the pictures. Fits a standard single mattress. Looks like it’ll last well.

Value for money and easy to assemble
Bought this bed as a temporary bed for the grandchildren when saying overnight at our house. Granddaughter loves it but hasn't stayed overnight yet. People complained about difficulty putting it together and having problems lining up the frame to the holes which we didn't have and was easily put together. Only thing I would have liked being wooden slats instead of the metal ones, other wise strong item at a good price.

The bed is lovely and quite simple to assemble (definitely a two person job!) I was a little bit disappointed with the colour as it is more of an orange/red but it still looks great in my little boys room.

"Distance of support leg inset into the bed is approximately 16cm." (So the middle support legs are both set 16cm in from the outside edges of the bed).

"Children aged from approx. 18 months up to 4 years are recommended to be in toddler beds, and children 4years+ can sleep in “shorty” or kids-compliant single beds." This is because of safety considerations when children are younger, such as gaps posing entrapment risks.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Charlie Single Metal Bed Frame - White: It is not recommended to keep another mattress underneath the bed. The gap between the middle support legs is also not wide enough for a standard single mattress to fit between.
