There's an ergonomic grip bar that keeps your fist positioned correctly. Five-layer foam core absorbs impact through every punch. A turnback hook-and-loop closure gives you a secure fit.
The ventilated palm controls moisture during intense workouts. Mesh design keeps your hands comfortable throughout each session. Quad-layered foam protects your knuckles whilst absorbing impact. The sweat-resistant interior lining wipes clean easily. You'll train confidently at home or in the gym.

Knock out…
Purchased these gloves for sparing in the gym and took advantage of the lower price at Argos versus other retailers. Gloves are great, good size / fit (16oz) but did arrive a little squashed - all good now though and do as they should

good quality for bag works
Good quality glove, perfect for bag work as it protects hands really well. Padding feels sturdy. Stitching quality not bad, should be durable. I know it doesn't have the best or most complete features, but for the price, it is a great value for money. Especially for beginners.

My kids love this. Perfect for taining and play. Really comfortable, safe in use, very strong and good quality but very light . Fits lovely for my teenager . Looks really nice and can be for boys and girls.

Strong and sturdy training gloves
The Everlast Powerlock 2 training gloves are superior quality solid build and extremely comfortable and feel very sturdy around the wrists and entire hands with the extra support for blocking and giving they are 16oz they still feel fairly light on the hands but certainly pack a punch! My son much prefers these to his previous gloves he has very wide hands and these are a much better fit also! They secure with a hook and loop velcro cuff strap that pulls in quite tight so they feel extremely secure my son loves these! And yes these are a pair and definitely not singular boxing gloves! Highly recommend!

Missing item plus wrong colour
Only one boxing glove! There was supposed to be two, one left and one right glove. Also it was gold and black instead of grey and black.

Hey, its not about the age but the weight of the 13 year old. The average weight for a 13 year old is 45 or 46kg. These would be good for both heavy bag work as well as sparring. In my opinion, these are a tiny bit heavy for the bag but will make you really fast after training with them. If you are doing fitness boxing and do not plan on sparring, I recommend you do not get these gloves and get a pair of 12 or 14oz gloves. If you plan on actually competing as a boxer, then get them.
