This paper shredder will shred for up to 3 minutes before requiring 40 minutes to cool down. The duty cycle of the P-30c shredder is 3 minutes on and 40 minutes cool down.

The Fellowes P-30C 6 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is designed primarily for paper, credit cards, and small staples, and it can handle up to 6 sheets of paper at once.
However it does depend on the thickness of the card envelopes. You would have to remove any labels as these can get stuck to the cutters and clog up the machine.
You may want to look at a more heavy duty machine like the Fellowes 12C 12 Sheets 19 Litre Cross Cut Shredder.
