Excellent so far. Shreds into small pieces. Quieter than my previous shredder. Would be good if it came with small bottle of lubricant oil or a few lubricating sheets. Reasonable price. Good size container and viewing window is a plus.

A good price but….
Bought this shredder to replace one bought twenty years ago which took one/two sheets per pass. It was a ‘straight line’ shredder which would stop shredding after a good half an hour of use. The new one is a cross-shredder and the new one, although it shreds well, only lasts about five minutes as it then stops because it is too hot. Then you have to wait about twenty minutes for it to cool down and then be ready to use again. So it is fine if you are only shredding a couple of pages, but if you are having a paper clear out, then be prepared to keep returning to it to complete your task!

Compact little machine. Does what it needs to do. Marked down as you can only use it for a couple of minutes at a time before it gets quite hot.

You get what you pay for!
The item works but is not particularly robust, it seems. The shredded paper does not clear the cutting teeth properly and so the motor keeps running continuously so the machine cannot be run for to long to avoid overheating.

The duty cycle of the P-30c shredder is 3 minutes on and 40 minutes cool down.

The Fellowes P-30C 6 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is designed primarily for paper, credit cards, and small staples, and it can handle up to 6 sheets of paper at once.
However it does depend on the thickness of the card envelopes. You would have to remove any labels as these can get stuck to the cutters and clog up the machine.
You may want to look at a more heavy duty machine like the Fellowes 12C 12 Sheets 19 Litre Cross Cut Shredder.
