Amazing Salter Kitchen Scales
I bought this as my previous Salter Kitchen Scales had disintegrated having already been replaced by the company for doing the same before. Although still under guarantee I decided to replace them. Well what a pleasant surprise, they are amazing. I am so pleased. I would highly recommend them. So easy to operate, clean and store.

The Salter Aquatronic Glass Digital Kitchen Scale does have an auto power-off feature. Auto switch off will occur if display shows 0 for 1 minute or the same weight reading for 3 minutes

Yes, you can. The supplier says: “If an item to be weighed is placed on the scales before power button is pressed and then the scales are switched on and you remove the item its weight will be shown as a negative reading.”

It simply assumes 1g is 1ml. This is true for totally pure water, and near enough true most water based liquids in most recipes. Being able to switch between grams and millilitres on the scales is pointless and a marketing gimmick.

This measures either imperial and metric measurements and has a liquid measuring function. Grams/lbs and ounces are for measuring food whereas ml/fl.oz are for liquid measurements.
