About this product
Bring a soft, warm glow to your living room or bedroom with the Habitat floor lamp that creates a cosy atmosphere perfect for unwinding in the evening or adding gentle light to quiet corners. The striking white paper shade has a folded structure inspired by Japanese design that catches the eye while spreading light evenly, and it stands tall without taking up much floor space. The clean, sculptural look works beautifully in modern or minimalist rooms, adding visual interest that complements your furniture rather than competing with it.
The inline foot switch makes it easy to tap on and off without bending down to the plug, and the 1.8m cable gives you flexibility with placement. It uses a small edison screw LED bulb up to 5 watts, so you can choose your preferred warm or bright light. The lightweight paper construction makes it simple to move around when you're rearranging, and self-assembly is straightforward with clear instructions included. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for reliable, everyday lighting.

Customers Say
Stylish, ambient paper lamps with a cozy glow. Loved for design and uniqueness but assembly is tricky, instructions poor, and quality can vary with some damage or fragile parts.

Could have been a better buy
Bought 2 of these as my wife loved the design for our bedroom instead of bedside table lamps. TBH I liked the design too but was disappointed when I picked them up and brought them home and opened the boxes but as my wife really loved the design so I didn’t want to disappoint her by returning them would have been a great buy for about £20 each but at £32 a piece it’s a bit on the expensive side as it’s only paper.

Floor lamp
This looks stunning in my dinning room, despite some reviews saying it was tricky to assemble we had no issues at all!

Love it
Just love this lamp. Easy to put together and looks great.

Looks like plastic
It is described as being made of paper which technically it is, however I was expecting a fine tissue paper effect, rather than what seems to be corrugated cardboard and which looks like plastic. Not a pretty effect to say the least!

Advertising photo looks good
felt that the adhesive strip to hold the concertina lamp together wouldn’t stand the test of time.

Assembling impossible
The lamp itself might be quite beautiful but there is no way to understand how to assemble it! The instructions included are not detailed enough and don’t quite match the product or parts included or maybe not included. I had to return it! Waste of time!

Hello Mil
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Origami Column Floor Lamp - White:
There is a very tiny hole at the top which is the only light source coming out from inside. This is so tiny you won't see the bulb at the top of the lamp.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Carol,
The supplier has advised the following for the Origami Column Floor Lamp - White:
“ The best way is to clean it with dry cloth as it is paper product. ”
