Brilliant lampshade design at a fabulous price
This lampshade has turned out really great. Fabulous geometric design. Modern and elegant. And being a paper lampshade gives out a really lovely diffuse light. And at a great price in the sale. A lovely piece of design.

Looks great and nice light.
Great quality for the price. Secured with velcro. Couldn’t put this where I initially wanted as there has to be a thin wire for it to attach to. It’s now elsewhere and looks brilliant. You don’t see any of the bulb which is great

Attractive light shade
Bought for dining area for standard pendant light. Took a bit of manoeuvring to get metal ring to open and fit shade to pendant but once on it’s secure. Like the colour a lot and as another reviewer said it does diffuse the light a fair bit but I’m ok with that. Good price on sale.

Cleverly made lampshade
I bought this light shade for my son,s room and he loves it I think it's a very clever design struggled a little at first putting it up but once I realized how to do it by following the instructions it was a doddle I love the colour the size is perfect bigger than I thought it's also robust very well made we're so happy with it and it,s definitely worth the money I recommend it

Lovely lamp shade. Easy to hang though a bit fiddly to fasten together while holding the shade up. I’d buy again of the need arose.

Easy to fit
We put this up last weekend and although easy to fit, it doesn’t sit quite straight. In addition to this, as soon as the light is tuned on, you can really see the Velcro which is a bit disappointing.

Looks great and is a lovely colour. Have put 4 stars because it is a bit tricky to put up and dulls the light a little more than I expected, but it's lovely!

Lovely shape, awkward to put together
Love this eco paper lampshade. Looks great, except it's very awkward to line up the velcro take it sit properly and there's an obvious overlapping 'seam' when illuminated which kind of spoils the aesthetic. Overall, pleased. If I line the seam up and point it away from the centre of the room it doesn't show.

You need to spin the ring round to find the clip. Opposite the bolted point.
I cannot work out how to open the ring either? I do not think that the suppliers answer was particularly informative either.

The supplier has advised the following for the Origami 27x37cm Paper Easy Fit Shade - White:
“ There is no fitting inside the shade, only has the metal ring which the cable(wire) can hang over the ring. ”

The Kura - white, has a separate metal ring with 4 shaped pins on it - this ring is supposed to go in the middle of the light fitting for the paper lamp to then rest onto these pins. The problem is, this ring is wider than the light fitting, so how would this rest or fit into the fitting?
On the opposite side to where the ring is fastened with a pin there is a little hook mechanism. This is where it opens.
The response from Argos is incorrect. The ring needs turned until you get to a part opposite the pinned opening, which then opens fairly easily. No hope when Argos dont even know how it hangs!
To open the IRON RING you will probably need to spin or turn the ring until you can see where it has a joint. You can then open the ring.
I think the confusion is around the instruction to OPEN THE IRON RING. That instruction needs more explanation, please.

The Origami 27x37cm Paper Easy Fit Shade- Sage Green has a standard fitting which fits on the light fixture, normally by unscrewing the bottom section of the light fitting, fitting the shade and then rescrewing the bottom section before inserting the light bulb.
