Beautiful, super stylish shade for only £12. How can life get better? I saw some negatives about the Habitat sticker which was visible.. just turn the shade other way up! Yes, dealing with the metal ring is a little fiddly, but so worth the effort. I love it. I will buy again for a different room.

It’s going in the bin for 2 reasons..I would have to drive 120 mile round trip to return it..secondly, after you put it together, there is a very stupidly placed white sticker on it which won’t come off without ripping the shade..

The supplier has advised for the Habitat Green Paper Easy Fit Lampshade - 37cm: The ring has a hinge and directly opposite there is a joint that can be gently pulled apart by pushing the two parts of the ring in opposite directions. The ring may have turned during transit so the joint may be hidden in the paper, but it can be turned around until the joint is visible.

You need to spin the ring round to find the clip. Opposite the bolted point.
I cannot work out how to open the ring either? I do not think that the suppliers answer was particularly informative either.
