Superslim is a ceiling light from Philips, which emits a pleasant warm white light. The ultra-thin lamp uses Philips Sceneswitch technology. You can easily choose from three different lighting settings via your current wall switch, you do not need a dimmer. The ceiling light has an integrated memory clip that reminds you of the last selected lighting setting when the lighting is turned off for more than 6 seconds.

Excellent features
Excellent fast fitting took me 10 mins from removing old fitting to installing new one . And what's great is it has a safety ine and cilp to hold light up while u install the wires. and three changes to light shade as well my son loves it have purchased another one for our bedroom

Was all gd, thanks. It required extra work to fit it tho (from a "regular old skool" light with a wired drop and bulb) and some help from an electrician which I wouldn't normally need for just swapping a light fitting. But it's great for the low headroom cellar which is where I keep my Rancor who is tall and grumpy with bumps on the noggin. He's still gutted after losing his brother in a work related accident with an electric door. They weren't close, it happened a long time ago, far far away but he struggles to open up about it. Not healthy to keep things bottled up like that. He hasn't used the Peleton bike I got him during lockdown since the day I got it. Wasn't easy getting it down those stairs either. Cancelled my subscription and got him Xbox Game Pass instead which he plays in the dark and never uses the low profile light I started talking about.

It looks slim and tidy, the one draw back was you may need some old cable and connector blocks for fitting as this just expects L and N inserts. The brightness setting is a nice touich, but not as dim as the pictures might suggest. Finally, there is a slight delay every time you turn it on after being off for a while.

Answer from Jake is completely misleading.
This item requires a simple on off switch.
Switching on off toggles it through the the 3 available settings bright medium dim.
The setting that the light is on is remembered by the device when it is switched off for a length of time. When it is switched on again it returns to that setting.
Power usage is proportion to light brightness.
i.e. dim uses least power. 10 percent
