Great kit but beware
A good piece of kit, but on the second time of plugging it in to my laptop it creates a crash and the hardware disconnected my hard drive to my computer ... i had to employ help to fix the issue. Now it works fine.

Compact well made camera with mics
Pick up was easy at the local Sainsburys. Camera is great and the mic and camera work well. Fits on top of the monitor and the level can be adjusted easily

Logitech is the best tech!
Fabulous webcam product that I have upgraded from the previous Logitech webcam I had for 5years. I use this camera for zoom yoga classes and recording videos to be able to share with my students. I have looked into your question for this item Logitech C920S HD Pro Webcam 311/8607 and can see from the manual that the microphone can be switched off.
This can be done:
With the Webcam plugged in, disable the Webcam's Audio Component: - In Device Manager, under "Sound, video and game controllers", find the "HD Pro Webcam C920" entry. - Right-click on "HD Pro Webcam C920" and select "Disable". Confirm any prompts if required.
