After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the IT Hard Large Expandable 8 Wheel Suitcase: I can confirm that you may use a padlock to lock the suitcase.
The padlock can thread though the zip pulls providing there is a small hole and the padlock is not too thick and be secured.
