Spend weeks trying to locate suitable fixings
The brackets are only supplied with masonry screws - no suitable for lath & plaster or plasterboard walls. The masonry in either are too deep into the wall. I had to locate and purchase screw in metal plates. Also the screw to hold the two poles together in the centre provides absolutely no stability. Looks like I'll need to find and purchase another bracket and fit the poles as two separate sections. Tbh I've had to spend nearly the same amount again just to find fixings that will fit and support this pole. I would have been better just buying poles from a DIY store and making my own curtain pole.
