Having checked I can see these can dry out if left unused for long periods of time. It may be best to do one print a week to lengthen the life of the cartridge and prevent it from drying out.

I originally purchased a new printer in Nov 23. This came with cartridges. I dont print alot but I say an estimate of about 50 and this was just mainly credit and bank statements so mainly black used.
Since purchasing a new cartridge I printed less than 10 and the black ran out. Seeing other comments some only getting 25 prints. Not right. Makes one not know whether to purchase or not as works out very costly. For me I may get rid of printer.
I purchased these inks and the black ran out after 9 pages. When you see these cartridges are meant to print up to 540 pages I am at a loss.
Now unsure whether to purchase a black only cartridge which states upto 150 pages but many are only getting 25. Something is really wrong here and unfair.
Due to this I am thinking of just giving up on having a printer at home. Unsure if cartridges work better purchased from elsewhere but not sure why this is the case like some have mentioned.
