Excellent for thick bread and teacakes.
Excellent toaster good for thick slices of bred and teacakes, good range of browning haven’t used the frozen functionality yet but everything else is great. Easy to clean on the outside and has crumb trays on both sides making life easy.

Purchased the Russell Hobbs toaster to replace a 4 slice toaster we had for many years. I chose the Russell Hobbs replacement based on the quality make & its stainless steel & black design, similar to our previous one. The perfect match to all our appliances! Very happy with its performance & perfect toasted bread or tea cakes! Adequate settings to suit everyone’s idea of browning, with the handy ‘re warm’ feature & ‘frozen symbol’ button to press, for bread straight from the freezer!

Not fit for purpose.
Toaster is a total waste of money. Very flimsy, cheaply made and not fit for purpose. Tried various different brands of bread and not a one fit into the toasting slots. After trimming of the crusts only one side of the bread toasts evenly. Very disappointed with the product, made even worse by the fact Sainsbury Argos at Heaton Park refused a refund. Give this toaster and Argos a wide birth.

unfortunately it is not fully brushed. I purchased this but could not be bothered taking it back so putting up with it, it is shiny steel on the front and top.
