The Panasonic KX-TGE820EB Big Button Cordless Phone is designed to make home calling simple and accessible, especially if regular phone buttons are difficult to use. The larger buttons with clear characters prevent misdials, while the LED indicator shows incoming calls at a glance. The Talking Caller ID announces who's ringing before you pick up. The automated call block filters unwanted calls. Callers not in your phonebook must press a number to get through, which disconnects robocalls.
It's hearing aid compatible with amplified sound for clearer conversations, plus handsfree calling and adjustable speaker and ringer volumes. The answer machine records up to 40 minutes of messages with personalised options. With up to 18 hours talktime or 250 hours standby, you won't need frequent recharging. It works up to 50m indoors and 300m outdoors, with out-of-range and low battery indicators. Features include 10 name and number memories, 40 ringtones, last number redial, caller ID, call log, and call divert. The phone has a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee. Caller ID subscription is required for call blocking.

I love the Talking Caller ID feature
I bought this phone to replace a previous Panasonic cordless phone of the same type which had packed up after many good years, but I wanted to retain my landline. I particularly value the talking caller ID feature, it's great! This one is different from my previous model in that it has big buttons, which is useful for myself and my learning disabled son. What I find more difficult than my previous model is searching and finding my saved contacts. Apart from that, I am very pleased with my phone and the way it was easy to order it from Argos.

Good for some people but loudspeaker button
Good phone for some people, big buttons easily visible and reliable. However, the one significant thing I would say is that the loudspeaker button is separate from the answer button. This may seem a small thing but for my elderly mother, who is sight-impaired, this does significantly affect confidence of use and has led me to ditching this for another Panasonic model.

However, if digital signal over analogue lines, then should work but will need an adaptor from the provider and we can't confirm 100% if this will work or not.''
