The Vax SpotWash Duo is built for tackling everyday spills and stains without the faff of a full-size carpet cleaner. It's a proper spot cleaner that combines powerful suction with deep cleaning action, so you're sorting messes quickly rather than waiting for carpets to dry out for hours. The clever bit is the dual tool setup - you get an Everyday 2-in-1 Tool for quick clean-ups and refreshes, plus a separate Messy Clean-Up 2-in-1 Tool for pet accidents and tougher jobs. That means you're not using the same attachment for everything, which keeps things more hygienic.
It works on carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery, with an adjustable floorhead that switches surfaces easily. The 1.6l clean water tank lets you clean several rooms, and the 1l dirty water tank shows what's lifted out. The 4.5m power cord and 1.52m hose provide good reach without unplugging, and edge-to-edge cleaning gets right to skirting boards. Weighing under 4kg, it's light enough to carry upstairs and has a built-in handle. It includes both tools and a 250ml bottle of SpotWash solution to get you started.

Great portable carpet cleaner
Had the machine about a month now- got it in a sale so was pleased with that. But this machine is brilliant, its lightweight- a must for me now- easy to use , very little to assemble and just makes the whole process a breeze. Couple of months ago hired a well known brand machine to do carpets and stairs, but too heavy to take up stairs to do another area. Then got some marking on main carpet and this brought it back to life again. I'll be able to easily do stairs etc so easily now. A little gen!

Fantastic product. Already had a big Vax carpet cleaner with a spot cleaner attachment, but it weighs a fair bit and I'm not getting any younger. This wee unit is light and does an amazing job. For the money, couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Very easy to use
Basically bought the cleaner because dog peed on the carpet. I was a bit wary of using it at first, it looked complicated but I really got the hang of it quickly! Good sucktion on it, good coverage with the sprayer and the tanks are a good size. I'm not sure if I didn't us it correctly but it was struggling on the couch, I sprayed but it didn't suck the water up... Will definitely be using it for future spills on the carpet!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vax SpotWash Duo Spot Carpet Cleaner: ''All of our spotwash machines are great at lifting stains.
However this model comes with one type of brush whereas other machines have a spinscrub brush that may be better at lifting soot stains.
I would also recommend a pre-treatment stainshot or stain remover which will help give a better clean especially for this type of stain.''
