Double Cream Disaster
About 3 months ago I dropped a full tub of double cream all over the bottom stairs in the hallway of my boyfriend’s house and as I’m sure you can imagine, he wasn’t best impressed. Ever since I have tried everything from fairy liquid to vinegar and bicarbonate soda to clean it but it was the odour it left that was the biggest problem, pure spoilt rotten cream. I purchased this Spot Cleaner as it was a reasonable price and wow it’s outdone itself. My boyfriend said the smell was originally a 10/10, 10 being the worst he’s ever smelt and after a good hour of using this cleaner, it’s now barely a 2/10 he says, the smell is virtually gone. I am optimistic by the second clean it will be completely gone given the improvement it’s made already. I highly recommend this cleaner, not only has it eradicated of the light stains we had but the rotten cream odour is nearly non existent. Will most certainly be making future purchases of VAX products, thank you!☺️

This machine is amazing my sofa and rug look brand new, yet to use it on the interior of my car but looking forward, I can’t believe how quickly the water goes down though !! Would definitely recommend

Amazing cleaning machine
This is a great cleaning machine has really good suction and really easy to use on the stairs plus spot items that may happen on your carpets or hard floors , the tank holds a lot of water so cleans a lot before needing to fill up again. I would definitely recommend this cleaning machine

Does what it says for the price
Once you get the hang of it this is a great little machine for clearing spills and claiming small areas of carpet in high traffic areas. The later is really what I wanted it for. Works better on carpets with a pile, than flat woven carpets. Lightweight and easy to put together and use. Works for what I need it for and certainly brings the dirt out. Not that good on furniture if dirt in ground in, but if just freshening up it’s fine. Solution runs out quite quickly, but then it’s only meant for small areas. Does pick up spills so good if you have a new carpet. However be aware it is very noisy.

A great little wet vacuum cleaner!
Bought this a while ago and have used for various thins around the house: carpets, cushions, sofas dining room chairs. Easy to set up and use, after prolonged use the ergonomic design can make your wrist sore, but very minimally. Cleaning is good, very satisfying seeing the brown, disgusting liquid in the dirty tank. The suction is good, can also be used as a wet vacuum which is a bonus. Capacity is good for the tasks it’s designed for (the jobs listed above).

Works well. Thought it wasn't working at first but found that the spray hole was blocked with some kind of mesh.Okay now.

I’ve only used the machine once and it did nearly get a coffee stain out, which had dried. I Will be trying again to see if I can clean it completely. Considering stain had dried it was a good start.

"In regards to the question can our spot washers be used on a mattress, yes they can. But we always advise to check with the mattress manufacturer and to do a spot test first, as mattresses can be made up of many different materials."

The Vax SpotWash Duo Spot Carpet Cleaner should work on wool carpets, but the manufacturer does recommend testing before you start to use the product for colourfastness.
Instructions: Wet a white absorbent cloth with the solution. In a small hidden area of the surfaces to be cleaned, gently rub with the dampened cloth. Wait ten minutes and check for colour
removal or bleed with a white paper towel or cloth.
Check all surfaces to be cleaned and if the surface has more than one colour, check all colours.
