Excellent carpet and floor cleaner
Used on carpets and very grubby lino. The carpet had stains where I'd scrubbed by hand, this machine removed the stains easily, can't tell where they were now. The lino had got ingrained dirt that a mop, manual nor electric had been able to lift, this brought it back to its original white, albeit, with a bit of scrubbing, but so much easier as it is all built in and sucks the dirty water back up. It is very loud though!

Wonderful little cleaner.
Brought this last month and used it last weekend. My carpet in the conservatory had mucky marks on as we go in and out from garden. It is looking like new now. Wonderful little cleaner! So easy to clean afterwards.

Works really well on small stains, however, after just few months, it’s now leaking from the clean water tank bottom valve. It leaks so much causes pool on floor

The hose split and as other reviews have said, cannot be replaced This seems to be a design flaw that appears to just after the warranty runs out We used the product as dir d and kept in good condition using only vax products

"In regards to the question can our spot washers be used on a mattress, yes they can. But we always advise to check with the mattress manufacturer and to do a spot test first, as mattresses can be made up of many different materials."

The Vax SpotWash Duo Spot Carpet Cleaner should work on wool carpets, but the manufacturer does recommend testing before you start to use the product for colourfastness.
Instructions: Wet a white absorbent cloth with the solution. In a small hidden area of the surfaces to be cleaned, gently rub with the dampened cloth. Wait ten minutes and check for colour
removal or bleed with a white paper towel or cloth.
Check all surfaces to be cleaned and if the surface has more than one colour, check all colours.
