About this product
The Vax SpotWash Duo is built for tackling everyday spills and stains without the faff of a full-size carpet cleaner. It's a proper spot cleaner that combines powerful suction with deep cleaning action, so you're sorting messes quickly rather than waiting for carpets to dry out for hours. The clever bit is the dual tool setup - you get an Everyday 2-in-1 Tool for quick clean-ups and refreshes, plus a separate Messy Clean-Up 2-in-1 Tool for pet accidents and tougher jobs. That means you're not using the same attachment for everything, which keeps things more hygienic.
It works on carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery, with an adjustable floorhead that switches surfaces easily. The 1.6l clean water tank lets you clean several rooms, and the 1l dirty water tank shows what's lifted out. The 4.5m power cord and 1.52m hose provide good reach without unplugging, and edge-to-edge cleaning gets right to skirting boards. Weighing under 4kg, it's light enough to carry upstairs and has a built-in handle. It includes both tools and a 250ml bottle of SpotWash solution to get you started.

Good toy!
Very happy with how simple it is to use and pretty impressed with the freshen up on my sofa. I bought it to clean a pretty old (25 years maybe) faux suede very light cream sofa which had just got dark wear stains on it from clothes etc. Previously professionally cleaned and came up amazing. I wasnt expecting it to come up perfect with this and it didnt. (I did half the sofa so I could compare when dry). I will have a second go. I do think the softer brush is harsh on the material though and the remaining fabric texture is not what it was. Not unexpected and not complaining but I think a gentler "brush" without the bristles and maybe more of a sponge agitator would give a better result given I basically didnt use the brush and just wet the cushion with the soap & water and just sucked the water out and repeated that as the brush was just too harsh. If i just wanted to clean the sofa i'd probably pay a pro but excited to use it on other things. Great toy. God I'm a geek lol

I used it the day it arrived! I was surprised how much of a difference it made to the sofa in our extension. My son had spilled lager on one of the arms. That is gone, and the whole sofa looks and feels fresher. Car upholstery next, as the unit is so easy to carry around. I particularly like the self clean function for the hose!

So glad I bought this to clean my stairs and furniture, it has worked well, easy to lift and carry into position that I want. Far easier and lighter than my upright carpet cleaner for use on the stairs. Great on three piece suite, bought my beige chairs up really well, suction is great until no more water coming off so drys quicker than I expected.

However this model comes with one type of brush whereas other machines have a spinscrub brush that may be better at lifting soot stains.
I would also recommend a pre-treatment stainshot or stain remover which will help give a better clean especially for this type of stain.''
