Enjoy family dining for 4 and entertaining for more with our Clifton extending dining set. Designed in a warm wood veneer finish with slide-out centre leaf, you can accommodate parties of up to 6. This set comes complete with 4 padded chairs upholstered in cream fabric and with solid wood legs.

Chairs very good, Table has quality issues.
I bought this when there was a discount offer but had been keeping my eye on it for a while before hand. Firstly, the GOOD: The chairs are very nice, comfortable, and good quality materials. Very happy with the Chairs. The NOT SO GOOD: The table arrived and 3/4 of the way through assembly I found a critical part was missing (a sheet metal Z bracket that enables the 2 halves of the top to slide apart to accommodate the extending infill). These things happen and Argos organized a replacement within the week. The BAD, the overall quality of the table is decent enough, the veneer used is nice quite quality but unfortunately one of the leaves that makes up the main top surface has a small but noticeable corner of veneer missing and you can see the chip board underneath. This will no doubt deteriorate overt time. for a table of this price, I am disappointed but with the hassle of getting the missing part I could not be bothered to complain again. In terms of assembly, it's straightforward for a seasoned assembler of flat pack furniture, nothing out of the ordinary, took me 2.5 hours on my own.

Really sturdy excellent value
The chairs I put together myself , the table I paid a local odd jobber to put together for me. All in all this set is very nice very strong it extends to seat 6 comfortably, would recommend.

Nice and comfy furniture
I bought as replacement of old set. It looks good, is expandable if needed, chairs are quite comfortable. The only issue I have with table material - it would be nicer made from wood not a wooden-board. Quite easy to assembly to – my hubby did it all by himself but it took a few hours.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Clifton Extend Natural Dining Table & 4 Grey Chairs: The fabric is a Polyester tweed woven fabric.
