Use the 5-point harness up to 25 kg, then convert to a belted booster from 15-36 kg as your child grows.

Just awful.
Awful car seat. Installation is hard but the harness is the worst feature, incredibly difficult to clip together and the straps are simply not long enough. Should have stuck with Cybex as this is a waste of money.

This is the second time we have bought this car seat because it’s exactly what works for us. Once you progress to this from a baby seat, you’ll never need anything else again as it goes right up to the weight in which you can drop putting the child in a car seat.

Purchased this car seat for our grandsons. Needed another car seat and was drawn to this one for the safety aspect and a good price. Was easy to fit as we hadn’t had an isofix one before. Like the fact it tilts if they ever fall asleep in it. Very happy with purchase.

Bought this for my 2 year old after a lot of research. As always Argos click and collect was seamless. Installing the seat was very easy and best thing is it left enough space for 2 people to sit at the back along with it. My son loves the seat and did not take any time at all to get adjusted with the seat. Highly recommended.

Great features

"There is no height limit for using the Joie Bold R with the harness. However, the harness has a 25kg weight limit, if little one is over 25kg weight limit then the harness cannot be used."
