The Bemis Buxton toilet seat with patented Ultra-Fix is designed for universal pans. Adjustable to fit most toilets. Ultra-Fix is a patented fixing system that doesn't loosen and is quick to install. The bottom of the nut snaps off at the optimum tightening torque, locking the seat down perfectly tight. The ring and cover are recyclable. This seat is proudly made in Burnley, Lancashire.

Good features
I bought this to replace a toilet lid with a crack and a seat that moved. This bemis seat with the Ultrafix system, is strong and sturdy and when fitted has not moved. The only point which is not good are the grommets which insert into the holes did not fit our toilet bowl. We had to use without, but it still held firm.

Poor information
I bought this seat not realising it was not slow closing as it did not say anything on the box, I did not find out until I broke the seal, I returned it to your store but they refused to exchange it due to the seal being broken I had another ordered but refused to take it as they would not take the first one back, it should state on the advert/box that it is not slow closing, we have always had slow closing it makes it easier for my disabled wife to use, I have spent thousands of pounds in Argos over the years only 2 months ago I bought a new phone for over £1000 but will never buy from Argos again I am more than disappointed over this matter

Disappointing
I bought this to replace another old one by the same manufacturer. Much lighter plastic and flimsy. I haven't t succeeded in tightening the screws so it moves about. Might replace sooner rather than later. Not good quality for the money

I bought this to replace another Bemis seat. Although I typed soft close as a feature I wanted in the search bar but when I got it- it is not soft close. It is much lighter than my previous one. It was easy to fit. It's a simple design .

The Toilet Seat with Ultra-Fix is adjustable to fit most standard toilets, including round and some D-shaped pans. It is not designed for elongated toilets.
Always check the seat dimensions (H43.6 x W35.2 cm) and your toilet’s shape to ensure a proper fit.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: we would not recommend cleaning toilets with any chemical products or products containing bleach. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth is sufficient to clean the seat. Please note that these are industrywide recommendations not specific to our brand.
