Bought a few weeks ago and as you would expect it lights up to a good level and is dimable.

Misled by website
I had previously purchased and used the bayonet cap version of this bulb - which is fine. However on needing another the website advised me that it was out of stock for both home delivery and at my local branch. The only options were to travel to another store 25 miles away which had it in stock or to accept this product as an alternative - which I did without realising that it is NOT an alternative as it has a screw cap. On getting it home I immediately spotted this and have therefore returned it and obtained a full refund. However I am most unhappy that the Argos website directed me to a product with a significantly different spec - and I have already fed these comments back once before, incidentally.

Bought to use while redecorating - great price - dims smoothly but does flicker a bit when turned up full - {👈🏻 that could be down to the dimmer switch isolating the current though?!?!} Overall… IMPRESSED! 👍🏻

Only with use of Trailing edge dimmers as these are best with LEDS.

This bulb can be used with any switch however to be able to dim this you will need a dimmer switch.
