Great for laundry
My other dehumidifier is 15 years old and still going strong but I needed another specifically to help dry laundry. It’s compact, effective and easy to use.

Very efficient
This machine is excellent. I was surprised at just how much water was extracted fro the atmosphere, but after two weeks of use this has rediced drastically. Inotially it needed rmptying daily, but is now every two to three days. Noise level is acceptable rven when on high fan usage, and it is easy to move from room to room. All things considered, a good buy.

I would recommend as really happy with it
I have only had a few weeks & very happy with it, it’s collecting a lot of water, tank is goid size. I replaced it with old versions I had about 6 years. This feels a better quality & looks nicer. I can’t say how good it is long term but really happy with the quality. It is heavy but is on wheels so easy to move around. The noise level is not as high ss the older model which I like.

Fantastic dehumidifier already worth every penny!
It's absolutely fantastic! It's not too noisy at all. A light humming you can hear, but it's not annoying. It has already extracted 5 litres of moisture in a 24 hour cycle. That's about 45 litres in a course of a week. The tank is the right size. It's not too big and easy to move it around in the flat. I love the multiple options. I can set it for when the washing is out for drying and I can also choose if I want dehumidifier only or dehumidifier and air purifier too.

I bought this product ten days ago and what a difference it has made already! My laundry is dry within a few hours, and when there is none out, the dehumidifier is still drawing moisture , and I have to empty it frequently., as I live in a basement flat. Excellent value for a job well done!

Has worked brilliantly so far for drying out plaster and paint, and has coped with being in a very dusty environment without any complaints. Isn't very loud either, had it on overnight multiple times without even using night mode and it's been fine.

It extracts moisture from the air efficiently. A low level hum which doesn't disturb anybody. It is a bit heavy, but it doesn't really matter, as I don't need to move it around.

I was skeptical about how good this dehumidifier would be and on recommendation from family and friends I purchased a Meaco last winter. I live in an old stone cottage and dry washing on an airer indoors. The dehumidifier has been a game changer. Dries washing quickly, no condensation on windows, the whole house feels drier and warmer. So impressed I intend buying another so I can have one up and one downstairs.

The Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier does not actively cool a room; it is designed to remove moisture from the air and purify it, and any temperature change is incidental from the dehumidification process.

For purifying air it needs a hepa filter fitted. Note that it is optional and it will still work as a dehumidifier without. If the hepa filter is fitted it will purify and dehumidify at the same time. If you wish there is a function for just air purification. I believe this is with summer months in mind when dehumidifying is less of a need.

For the Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier.
The instruction manual states: ''Replacing the HEPA filter.
The dehumidifier comes with a H13 HEPA filter. This HEPA filter can be inserted into the dehumidifier to enable air purification, however this is optional - the dehumidifier can be used without the HEPA filter, this means it will dehumidify the air only and not purify it.
Although we do highly recommend using the dehumidifier with a HEPA filter, if you would like a quieter unit, removing the HEPA filter will reduce the noise level by 4-5 decibels.
• The HEPA filter is not life-long and must be replaced when the colour changes from white to grey (it depends on the environment the dehumidifier is being used in but the HEPA filter will need replacing roughly every 3 months).
• The HEPA filter can be hoovered every so often to remove any dust or dirt.
• To insert/replace the HEPA filter place it inside the combined filter case and dust filter, then slide the combined filter case and dust filter into the dehumidifier.
• Replacement HEPA filters can be purchased from Meaco.''
