Canon PG540L Black Ink Cartridge
This Canon ink cartridge sold through Argos Sainsburys is more a necessity than a preferred choice resulting from the inexpensive purchase of the Canon printer that operates with this ink. The cartridge sold here is the L, not the XL, that is a pity and means more frequent cost when this smaller size cartridge runs out as it does oh so frequently. It would be good if Argos could get around to helping just a little by offering the XL and could I dare to dream of a combination pack of the 540XL black & 541XL colour for a small price reduction buying both to the individual purchase cost of Canon black & colour inks.

Printer ink ok but other issues
I think this is an expensive option but I am concerned that if I don’t use canon ink the printer may recognise this and if it fails the warranty is invalid because I did not use canon ink. How is it replacement ink is more expensive than the printer itself? It’s a pain I can’t buy this product without the paper. A return packet for used cartridges is no longer supplied, not very green!
