I bought this for my wife who already had an eco drive watch which still works but over the years the face has got scratched and made it harder to see the time on a dark background.This new watch has a white background and black hands.If you havent had an eco watch before make sure you download the instructions or you may become too impatient and think it is faulty but it wont be.An excellent watch.

I bought this for my wife and she's happy with it, but a little tidier than she expected. Not for somebody with poor eyesight, but classical a dainty. We are hoping the promise that the battery will recharge for ever is true, but the convenience of not having to get a replacement every couple of years is a big positive.

I bought this watch as a Christmas present because the recipient was fed up changing the batteries on their current watch. This watch ticked all the boxes in terms of what I was looking for. A nice elegant and slim fitting watch strap, clear watch face and powered by any light source from Eco Drive. Just be aware that the size of the watch face for telling the time is smaller than the picture makes it look. Between the numbers 12 & 6 the size is 15mm (1.5cm). If you have poor eye sight, it's not for you.

The other answer is wrong - it is not powered by kinetic (movement) energy. It charges through artificial or sunlight falling on the face of the watch.
It doesn't take much light to keep a watch like tis going.
