I know it only a 4.5 tog but this quit is very. Very thin and does not fit into a quilt cover very well

Ok for the price.
I was looking for a summer weight quilt for an emergency replacement for one a dog had been sick on over Christmas. The one I wanted wasn't in stock so I bought this cheap one. It was very fluffy for a 4.5 tog but my guests said it wasn't too hot for my very warm house. The negative is the quality of the covering. It's very papery and I can see it could be easily torn if your not careful with it. If I could I would have bought a slightly more expensive one for a more durable material covering.

I wouldn't know what the quilt was actually like because the genius argos delivery person left it on the doorstep of a house up the road. I never saw it and had to make 5 phonecalls to get my money back. Argos are a bunch of clowns.

It's a duvet all right
It's pretty basic, but seems decent enough. I bought it to add on top of my current duvet to give it a but more oomph for winter, and I'm sure I'll deploy it in the summer too.

Duvets do not fall under the UK fire & furniture regulations, therefore the fibre used in duvets does not require any FR chemical treatment and the product does not come under routine flame retardant/resistant testing. The filling in the duvet will still pass FR testing, but there is no legal requirement for this product to be fireproof.

The Dreamwell Non Allergic 4.5 Tog Duvet - Kingsize is suitable for washing in a standard size washing machine therefore should easily fit in your 9kg washing machine.

They are made from Nonwoven Polypropylene which does look similar to tea bag material.
Please look at other ranges which use Microfibre Polyester this is a woven softer fabric.
