Ideal for growing Fruit, Vegetables & Plants
Bought recently as an add on to a previous order. The compost arrived in very thick plastic packaging as shown. The delivery was on time & the driver carried them for me to my property. The quality of the compost is excellent, moist but not too wet. I bought some of the same product recently & my plants are flourishing. It appears to be a good mix.

The Miracle-Gro 40L Peat Free Premium All Purpose Compost being peat free would be suitable for growing watermelon seeds however please bear in mind that a sandy loam soil is one of the best choices for growing watermelons.

The miacle gro compost is meant to help faster growth for plants and seeds so this would be fine to use with grass seed, although the ground underneath may need raking so that the seed is not blown away.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Miracle-Gro 40L Peat Free Premium All Purpose Compost: ''They could use Miracle-Gro 40L Peat Free Premium All-Purpose Compost 272/7099 as a lawn dressing but we would suggest they sieve it first as it will contain larger materials and is courser than lawn dressing (which is much finer).
If they are looking to overseed and thicken their lawn we would recommend they use Thick r lawn which is a grass seed and fertiliser in one. There are also several articles on the Lovethegarden with advice on lawn care.''
