About this product
The Philips Series 900 Air Purifier brings effective filtration to your living space in a compact design that fits beautifully into bedrooms, living rooms, or home offices. With a strong CADR rating of 250 cubic meters per hour, it handles rooms up to 65 square meters and cleans a standard room in minutes, tackling airborne allergens, dust, pollen and pet dander that affect daily comfort. The 2-layer HEPA NanoProtect filtration system captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.003 microns, including viruses like H1N1, helping to keep the air noticeably cleaner.
Five speed settings let you adjust airflow to suit the moment, while intelligent sensors monitor and respond to air quality automatically. Sleep mode runs at 20.5dB with a dimmed display, quieter than a whisper so your rest goes undisturbed. The washable pre-filter and HEPA filter (lasting up to a year) make upkeep easy, and at 21 watts, it uses less power than a standard light bulb. The compact frame fits neatly anywhere, and the 1.5m cable offers flexible placement. Auto shut-off adds convenience, and the 2-year manufacturer's guarantee provides reliable peace of mind.

So Quiet & cheap running costs
So pleased I bought this purifier, after a lot of research. Easy to set up (once you've got your own manual from the website). I was finding it difficult to breathe at night & this has helped no end. Cleans the room of nasties in super quick time & so very quiet. I have it running all night & would guess it costs around 4pence for 8 hours. Win win, clean air & not a lot of cost.

Great air purfier
Great device, easy to set up, and I appreciate the set it and forget it approach. It is not taking up too much space, and I can leave it running during the night as it is imperceptible from across the room. It would have been better if the air filter had the active carbon layer as the more expensive version. It reacts quickly to changes in the air quality, and it does a good job of cleaning the air.

Fantastic air purifier.
Really quiet and very fast to remove the particles from the room. Very easy to use. The count (of particles) is really useful, as you can clearly see the quick removal. Gives excellent coverage in our double lounge area. Very pleased with this purchase. It reduced my nasal congestion and hayfever at night. Superb. I went with Phillips thinking they reseach thoroughly and I am delighted with this.

I just bought this product and the model number is AC0920, AC0921. To my understanding he difference to the 950 and 951 products is the 3rd layer in the filter. 920 filter has two layers, HEPA and Pre, but no carbon. The 950 filter comes with all three layers, including carbon.

Hi,
Let's go through the steps to clean the filter properly on the Philips Series 900 Air Purifier and address the cleaning symbol issue.
Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
Open the front cover and remove the pre-filter, carbon filter, and HEPA filter.
Clean the pre-filter:
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
You can also rinse it with water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Clean the carbon and HEPA filters:
Use a vacuum cleaner to gently clean both sides of the filters.
Do not use water or wet wipes on these filters.
Clean the air quality sensor:
Use a vacuum cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the sensor.
Reassemble the filters in the correct order and close the cover.
Resetting the Cleaning Symbol
After cleaning, you need to reset the cleaning symbol:
Press and hold the filter reset button (usually marked with a clock icon) for about 3-4 seconds until the symbol disappears.
Filter Replacement
If the cleaning symbol persists, it might be time to replace the filter. The filters generally need to be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality.
I hope this helps.
