Not bad
Its ok. Mapping is good for one floor. It doesn't do 2nd or 3rd floor. But if switch on in a new place or floor it picks up the boundaries and clean it somewhat. Not as satisfactory as mapped floor. Water tank is tiny but cleans big surface. It comes with 2 mop mats. There are cheaper available in the market as well. But paid the price as comes with 2 years guarantee. And its from shark. A reputed company. I wanted suction bit stronger to pickup through wooden floor. Overall it saves me cleaning every day. With 2 furry pets its keeping the floor clean.

Brilliant for keeping on top of pet hair
We’ve had our Shark robot hoover for around 6 months now, so I feel like I can finally give a proper honest review. We originally bought it because we have two pets , a cat and a dog, and the amount of hair they leave around the house can be ridiculous! The hoovering side of it has honestly been better than we expected. It does a really good job at picking up the pet hair and general dirt, and it’s made keeping on top of the floors so much easier. It’s especially handy being able to set it off and let it do its thing while we’re getting on with other things. The mopping function is good, but I wouldn’t say it completely replaces actually mopping your floors. If you wear white socks afterwards, you can still see some dirt on them, so I’d definitely still give the floors a proper mop when needed. One thing we did learn over time is that cleaning and maintenance is really important. We had ours set to clean itself once a month, and we noticed that after cleaning it, the performance would improve as expected. However, we realised that the dirt collected from the hoovering/mopping doesn’t always dry properly, which seemed to affect how well it performed afterwards. So, regular cleaning and making sure everything is properly dried is definitely something I’d recommend. Unfortunately, after around 6 months, the battery stopped charging completely. We returned it and were offered a replacement, which was appreciated, but considering the price and reason we did chose that refund. But I wouldn’t let my special issue be the reason why you shouldn’t get it. Overall, we genuinely loved the hoover while it was working. For a house with both a dog and a cat, it made a noticeable difference to keeping on top of pet hair and everyday mess. There are definitely a few things I’d improve, particularly around the mopping/drying and the battery, but the actual cleaning performance was really impressive.

Wonderful invention
This is my second robot vacuum as I was so pleased with my first I bought another one! My first (Ruben) is just a vacuum so he has moved upstairs to the carpets. My new one (Dolly) is also a mop so is perfect for the hard floors downstairs. Had a bit of trouble getting her to map but once I sorted that out she is a dream. Wonderful and very clever invention! Love it.

R2 Clean 2 is makes me smile everyday. The scheduled hoover and mop function just before i get in from work daily means that there is one less thing to worry about. The floors are clear, he negotiates an odd room set up with dining chairs and dog beds, random wires from the kids gadgets with ease, and he's not shy about letting you know when he needs some assistance (empty the bin/uneven surface). Its also crazy how much dog hair he collects! I think i like him more than my kids.

Not as good as others in corners!
Due to the size it doesn’t do corners as well as some of the cheaper ones I have had! The brush isn’t long enough! I love the self empty and the mopping function though.

Kripton factor to set up
Absolute nightmare to set up as instructions virtually non existent, found a plate in the box that didn’t say where it went but found out it’s actually like a ramp for the thing to dock properly as before it kept coming up with error 9…. No information as to what error 9 was though. After 3 days we’re finally getting close to setting up where to sweep and where to mop but boy was it stressful.
