Preston 6 seater dinning table

Absolutely fab table! I really love it in my flat. I only have 4 chairs at the moment but you can definitely fit another 2 to make it 6 and I’d even say you could make it to sit 8 really at either side. It was super easy to build as someone who fid it by themselves and isn’t very handy. So far no damage and my partner sometimes puts hot tea without a coaster and I haven’t seen any damage yet. Its appearance gives the illusion of a more expensive piece of furniture and is also very sturdy. I’m really happy with this purchase! Would definitely recommend considering the price of larger tables and the quality. I was seeing some in Ikea that didn’t look as nice and were the same price. It was great value for money considering the space you get and the quality of the product. The only thing to mention is that I think the photos by Argos look lighter than the actual colour, I personally prefer the look in person. Delivery was also a bit awkward to book a window. For me this wasn’t a problem at the time but I don’t think I could recall a weekend slot for delivery.

Beautiful but difficult to assemble

There’s a bit in the middle of the instructions where 32 screws have to be screwed in without holes or guidance. We managed it in the end but very tasking if you’re not a handy man. Looks great though in the end.

Preston Wood Effect 6 seater

I bought this just before Christmas when it was on offer. Delivery was relatively quick and on time. Lovely table which is simple in design but looks great. Was used over the Christmas period for games and eating! More than enough room for 6 people. Would definitely recommend.

Good value, longevity maybe an issue

Purchased three of these for personal office and to play Warhammer 40K on. They are great value and sturdy enough but after only a few uses already showing signs that longevity maybe an issue as marks/damages easily. For my use case the cost on sale still warrants a good, I would purchase again. Another note is that the brackets underneath really should have pilot holes predrilled as screwing through the laminate is difficult with the screws provided.

Lovely table

Lovely, sturdy table. It is slightly higher than a normal table but it does say this in the dimension description and reviews - just need to make sure chairs aren’t too low. The only issue when putting together was one big step was screwing in brackets that had no holes…. Ended up using an electric screw driver otherwise would have taken forever. But otherwise a very lovely table and would definitely recommend.

Decent quality, stable Table

We are using it around 1 month already and have to say it is very stable and decent quality table, easy to mount for one person. There are few spots on top laminat with slightly different structure than the rest of the table, but it not affecting table at all. In general, very good item. I can remend it.
