Excellent radio
I’ve resisted buying the Roberts Sports DAB despite having other Roberts radios that have proved to be excellent. The reason is that the Sports DAB requires replacement AA batteries and is not rechargeable like many of the other brands. However having made the switch this is without doubt a huge improvement on my other inferior devices with reception and sound quality being significantly better. Would be a 5 star review if it was rechargeable.

Glad I purchased this DAB portable radio, cost a little more than I expected but well worth the extra. Fits perfectly into a pocket back pack, great reception and very easy to use.

Probably Best Pocketable DAB Radio - but issues
This is a lovely little portable DAB radio, but like all pocket size ones I have tried its ability to pick up stations, particularly DAB+ ones, is very dependent on the signal strength in the area you are in. I changed the supplied wired earbuds for a better quality pair, and this has helped in accessing more stations. Compared to its competitor pocketable DAB players this is the best, but does come with the limitations I mentioned above

Yes! I use rechargeable aaX2 batteries and they last for over 11 hours at time. Sooooo much better tha ''normal" batteries that I used to buy and MUCH cheaper and convenient.

Roberts does have travel pouches available for some of its smaller speakers that may be compatible.
