Useful little radio
I've had this a good few months and I use it to listen to the local radio commentary during football matches. It's a good little radio though there is limited choice for a "personal" radio of this size. The one improvement I'd like is to be able to use it with my Apple Airpods

Robert’s DAB FM pocket Radio after 4 weeks use
I have been using this little DAB radio for a few weeks and I really like it. I like the idea of listening to more radio stations than is available on just FM. This radio does has FM and Dab it is easy and straightforward to use. I have tinitus so this compact radio is perfect to listen to during the night, the screen light is quite bright but it dulls down very quickly so as not to disturb my wife. My surprise was that it uses AA batteries which I believe is safer if the radio ends up under the covers than a lithium battery and the AA batteries last we’ll even though I only buy Tesco’s own. There is a small wheel on the side to operate most of the functions this is a bit small, but if I want to change stations during the night there are 5 presents that are easy to use and they are easy to set up. It also has a lock buttons switch on the back. I really like this little radio and I am pleased that I bought it. The Robert’s brand tells me it is very reasonable quality and it affordable too.

Do not buy the DAB 5
Awful radio, bought to replace a earlier model, only to find this is a retrograde to my previous radio thd Dab 2 Needless to say I'm still using the Dab 2, which is far superior to this Dab 5. My opinion is DO NOT BUY THE DAB 5, unless you wish to retrograde your technology

Player good, headphones dreadful.
I bought this two days ago. I own 6 Robert’s radios and this one I’ve found is a let down. The actual player is good. Easy to use and programme. But what lets it down are the appalling cheap headphones. I had to order two to get a pair that weren’t broken. How can Roberts allow these to be used on their radio. Come on guys you have been in business since 1932, you should know better, provide better headphones not these cheap nasty ones that arrive at the customers house broken. How these got through quality control is beyond me. The second thing is make the battery rechargeable. I’ve replaced my 10 year old Pure with this and that was rechargeable. Amazons reviews all say the same thing.

Excellent little dab radio
I should have bought one of these years ago. Lovely features and it picks up dozens of dab stations. Very clear sound from the ear buds.
