About this product
The Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic is a proper multifunction steam cleaner that does floors and everything else. It heats up in just 20 seconds and gives you about 15 minutes of continuous steam from the 0.26l tank. The clever bit is the detachable handheld unit that clicks off in one go, so you can switch from mopping sealed floors to steaming kitchen surfaces, bathroom tiles, taps, windows and mirrors without swapping machines.
It runs on 1600 watts and has trigger-activated steam with variable control, so you decide when and how much steam to use. The angular floorhead reaches corners and edges, and the 7m cord lets you cover a good area without unplugging. Use water alone or add Vax cleaning solution for extra freshness. It works on sealed wood, tile, laminate floors, plus carpets and rugs with the right attachment. Included are a metal brush, small and large plastic brushes, window tool, cloth, scraper, concentration tool, grout brush, and detail nozzle. It weighs 3.7kg and has built-in overheat protection.

I have had this model before it is very good it does the job (I never use the hand held) the glider with this new machine brought my carpet back to life I have lots of microfiber cloths. One irritation you have to keep pressing the button for steam. But it is not the end of the world. If you have arthritis in your hands this might not work for you

Does its job much better than a mop
A kitchen floor with pale tiles was a problem to keep clean and grease free. This steamer removes dirt and grease leaving the floor clean and dry (with occasional rubbing needed just on the most tenacious marks.) The re-usable pad just gets put in the washing machine with items like bath mats when it gets a bit dirty. It does just what I hoped it would without too much elbow grease.

Good but heavy
Purchased a week ago. Really like it but it is quite heavy and both the mop and the handheld do hurt your hands, but it does the job. We’ve found the water tank leaks a little but it isn’t tok much of a problem as we empty it once finished and put away.
