I purchased the rug after seeing it advertised. I was looking for a traditional rug. I have been looking for weeks. I was delighted when I saw it in Argos. Thank you. Its satisfactory.

Good rug for the price.
Good for the price. It's not very thick and at first it has a funny feeling to the carpet but it wears off after a few days and feels ok under foot. For the price it's good and it's as described.

Hi Sue. I bought this rug several months ago. I have looked on the label applied to the back of the rug - it says not to be used near an open fire. In bold capitals it goes on to say KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE. Hope this helps you decide.

Here is how it is recommended to clean a Polypropylene Rug yourself or you can take it to a professional dry cleaner - hope this helps
If the entire rug needs cleaning, after vacuuming, place it outside on a concrete surface (preferably sloped). Hose it down, wetting it thoroughly; either spray entire surface with cleaner (409 or Fantastic) or pour liquid soap directly onto the surface. With a scrub brush, work the cleaner/soap into the carpet, and then rinse rug thoroughly with hose until water runs clear. Lay the rug on a flat surface to dry, turning frequently. If you have a strong enough clothesline, lay the rug over line instead.

This rug has a 7mm tufted pile, you should look for rugs described as flatweave with pile content 100% polypropylene, an example is cottage blocks rug cat code 803/2575:

Just received my grey rug. It is a charcoal grey with mid grey, white and black detail . A cool not warm shade of grey but very smart.
