Lovely Arbour
Bought 3 weeks ago - made up the day after delivery, difficult to build , no instructions included ( went on there website for the instructions) very brief instructions. You definitely need a drill to pre-drill holes , Took 2 to build approximately 5/6 hours Well worth it - it’s a great peice of garden furniture.

Quality excellent value
My husband has recently died and our plans to erect an arbour in a part of the garden he could sit were put on hold in June. He died early July. I saw this on offer and bought knowing it was flat pack. Persuaded our joiner to build and it was the afternoon the Queen died. He did say some of the wood was twisted but expertly sorted. It is now a special place to remember my husband. Delighted with the quality.

Great looking addition to the garden
I bought this recently and am very happy with it, very sturdy and well made. It’s a 2 person job to assemble but the instructions are clear all the bits were there with all pilot holes pre drilled.

Looks good
Very good overall. Did not take long to build . Just over an hour . There was a baton missing on one of the trellises. But having a friend who’s handy at woodwork soon fixed it . Looks the part in my small yard .

Great once assembled
Exactly what we wanted and reasonably priced, but a nightmare to assemble. Lots of the wood was bowed so the pre drilled holes didn't line up. It's a good job my husband is a tradesman with the tools and know how to be able to assemble it.

Love my Arbour, I have placed it in the corner of my garden where I can sit and read or just enjoy the beauty of nature all around me.

It took a lot of assembling -predrilling and then screwing in 100 plus screws but the finished article looks great !!

Arbour for views of Kelston
Good looks and value for money. Easy to assemble and fairly sturdy and stable once finished. Only negative is that the seat is not comfortable after about 10 to 15 minutes, perhaps just a bit short.

Hello Lyn,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows:
The Forest Garden Parisenne Arbour legs/posts are 70mm x 44mm.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
rosey, good afternoon the seat width is 1198mm x 598mm deep

No that's not correct. My one was delivered last week and only some holes are predrilled. Putting the three main pieces together requires drilling and so does other parts. No instructions were given ether and I had to telephone supplier but they available on the internet as I later found out. We are having trouble fitting the back seat and have checked and followed the instructions exactly.
Hi there,
I have looked into this and can advise that this arbour come with pre drilled holes and all fittings required to assemble.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
The pieces are quite heavy and do not have pre-drilled holes. However, the arbour is well built and everything is cut to the right lengths/widths, etc. I'd advise using a cordless drill with a Philips screwdriver bit to quickly force the screws in. Even with the drill it still took two of us three hours to build.
