Does what it says on the tin
Bought this watch to replace an all singing and dancing watch of 17 years old. Don't need anything other than a basic watch these days and this suited the bill. The blue colour makes a change from black. Backlight could be brighter, hence four stars.

I bought this watch on November 3rd 2025 after watching a review of Argos Sales on YouTube. The price was a genuine Sale price. I doubt I could have it cheaper anywhere. I am delighted with the watch.

A Quality Product at an Amazing Price
When the clocks changed my three year old Casio G-Shock solar radio-controlled watch went haywire. Despite hours of trying I just couldn't get it on time. As I had an important appointment the next day, I ordered this watch online and collected it within the hour. Parking was plentiful at Edinburgh Fort Retail Park and I was in and out of Amazon within a few minutes. The new watch is everything I need with a clear and bold display, is comfortable to wear, is completely accurate, and has manual control without unnecessary features like world time. It has a stop watch, a timer, and a 10 year battery life. Looks good too, and thanks to Argos I got it the same day, which was essential for me.

The watch does read seconds and to 0.01 of second in stopwatch mode. Hours and minutes use the large central digits and the seconds and 0.01 of second are shown in the smaller displays above and below. The watch does not display the current time when in stopwatch mode.
