Looks and great features.
I wanted a watch that was durable and reliable with a long battery life. Its rugged looks and easy to read display with illumination if required is exactly what I was looking for. I find it unbelievable this watch can be produced for the price.

Excellent Value from Casio and Argos
I bought this watch to replace a cheap Smart Watch as the strap had broken on it. Wanted something with a big clear display that I could read at a glance without my glasses and this one looked ideal. I've had Casio watches before and owned a few G Shocks in the passed which always were great watches for wearing at work. I'm a Field Service Engineer and my job does often have me fishing for cables through ceiling voids and down the backs of racks so a good durable watch is also a must. This one with it's resin strap is not quite as strong as a proper G Shock but then again it's less than the third of the price of a starter G Shock and it's definitely going to last me longer than my last one. Overall very happy for my needs. Love a chunky watch and this one fits the bill, allows me to see it at a glance whilst working and a great price point

Another Great Offer on Watches from Argos - Casio
Another great offer on watches from Argos. My last one was a Citizen watch, which was over a decade ago. Also, faced with replacing the battery on my existing Casio watch, I thought, may as well buy this Casio AE-1500WH-2AVEF for only £26. I love the clean design of this watch, especially for the large face and clean display, that has all the basic features that are useful for everyday use. I don't need a smart watch, I just need a watch can tell me the time, is reliable and robust in I go for a dip in the sea. For me, this is a perfect watch for my simple need.

Great watch
I bought this as a work watch and it’s great. Does what it needs to, clear display and good illumination for when I jam working a night shift. It is quite large so I’d like me you have a small wrist just be prepared. I bought mine while it was on offer to great value for money.

The Casio AE‑1500WH‑2AVEF does not include a vibration alarm.
Although it’s a durable and popular “budget G‑Shock” style watch with a large, easy‑to‑read display, all alerts are audio-based only.
Alarm Features of the AE‑1500WH:
5 Multi-function alarms: Set up to five separate daily alarms.
Snooze function: One alarm can be configured to repeat every 5 minutes until switched off.
Hourly signal: Emits a standard Casio double beep at the top of each hour.
Alert type: Audible tones only (no vibration).

The watch does read seconds and to 0.01 of second in stopwatch mode. Hours and minutes use the large central digits and the seconds and 0.01 of second are shown in the smaller displays above and below. The watch does not display the current time when in stopwatch mode.
