About this product
The Habitat Atlas 5 Door Wardrobe sorts out your storage in one go, especially when you've got more clothes than places to hang them. It's a wide unit at 250cm, so there's proper room for the whole family's wardrobe. You'll get six adjustable hanging rails and three shelves included, that's space for everything from coats and suits to folded jumpers and shoes. The warm oak finish brings a bit of natural character to your bedroom, while chrome bar handles add a clean, modern touch. Made in the UK, it's built with a sturdy structure that'll hold up to daily use.
Each hanging rail holds up to 19kg, so you can load them up without worrying. The shelves adjust to different heights, letting you organise things the way that works for you. Metal handles are durable and easy to grip when you're opening doors in a hurry. It arrives flat-packed with wall fixings included, two people recommended for assembly. Wall-mounting is required for units over 60cm high to prevent tipping, that's really important for safety and stability in your home.

Very heavy, very sturdy and TALL
Purchased in February 2026 and was really simple to put together. I thought it would be one big wardrobe requiring a lot of people to assemble but it was 3 different wardrobes (2 double and one single). I as a single woman managed to assemble it alone with no issues (including fixing to the wall) but I’d definitely reccomend two! You WILL need a drill to drill holes for the handles which was inconvenient but not difficult. The finish is gorgeous and solid. Have some of your own wall plugs as they’re not supplied and they expect a screw to hold a HEAVY wardrobe with a small screw by itself. I used Fischer wall plugs as they’re heavy duty. Overall the finish is lovely and we love it for my daughter.

Great Quality and Lots of Storage
I bought this wardrobe a week ago and I’m very happy with it. Building the wardrobe was easy and straightforward. The wood quality is very good. I previously bought a Habitat wardrobe from Argos, and after three years it is still in good condition, even after moving it to a new place. This 5-door wardrobe is built as separate units: two double-door sections and one single-door section, which makes assembly and positioning easier. The storage capacity is excellent and very ideal for family use.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Atlas 5 Door Wardrobe - Oak: The shelf can be positioned either in the middle or towards the top as shown in the images from the assembly instructions below. With the shelf in the upper position there is room for full length dresses. Unfortunately none of the images on the website show the options.

The supplier has advised the following for the Atlas 5 Door Wardrobe - Black And Brown:
“ The doors are 500mm wide, therefore for the doors to open fully you will need as least 1110mm from the face of the skirting board – depth of the cabinet plus the width of the door. ”

Yes, the handles don't come pre-attached to the doors. This is, in part, to allow the packaging to be thinner and also to protect them during transit. You’d need to attach them when you build up the unit.
