A bit of a disappointment.
I had previously owned a Fellowes Shredder and did not realise that the one I had ordered was quite a bit smaller. Although I don't do a lot of shredding, I wish now that I had looked for a larger one. Also, when I shred several sheets there is a fine mist of paper dust left on the top of the shredder as if it has been blown out instead of sucked in. Apart from these small irritations the shredder has worked well.

After reading the enclosed booklet, I didn't feel this was up to the job for me. I returned it and replaced it with a sturdier machine

Poor device
Bought to replace older shredder that only does two sheets at a time(bank letters invoices), and Cuts out after few minutes. This unit won't shred 8 sheets as claimed only two and and cuts out after after few minutes. Phoned Fellows help line, they stated 8 sheets claim,does not state the thickness of the paper , and unit will only run for 3minutes Before cutting out . Seriously. So if you want shred toilet paper for 3 minutes it the unit for you. So the same as my old unit what a waste ÂŁ35.

This doesn't have a lock on it for this model. You would need to unplug it from power to ensure there is no accidental turn on.
