About this product
The AEG IKX64301CB Electric Induction Hob offers fast, precise cooking with smart features that adapt to your style. Induction heats faster than traditional hobs, cutting wait times. The Hob2Hood function wirelessly connects to compatible cooker hoods, adjusting extraction speed as heat changes. It ramps up for searing and lowers for simmering. Front touch controls let you manage each of the 4 zones independently with simple plus and minus buttons, providing precise heat control for every pan.
The PowerBoost function pushes zones up to 3.7kW for rapid heat, perfect for bringing large pots to the boil quickly. Power ranges from 1.4kW to 3.7kW across zones, giving flexibility for melting butter or stir-frying. The built-in timer switches off zones when cooking time ends, preventing overcooking if you're pulled away. Residual heat indicators show which zones remain hot, adding safety and letting you keep food warm. It requires hardwiring into a dedicated cooker circuit and fits standard kitchen apertures. Comes with a 2-year parts and labour guarantee.

Easy to use
We love the product very easy to use ,instant heat .Its very safe as well .The only thing is I have a few scratches on it .We use job cleaner ,we’ve had these types of hobs before and never got any scratches !!

Not for me
Looks great and easy to clean but I really regret this purchase. It's unreliable. If a drop of water lands on the surface it switches off. The number of times I've come back expecting to find my pans simmering just to find they are cold and uncooked and the hob has switched itself off. Lift a pan momentarily to swirl the contents around (like a pancake) it has a beeping fit and flashes F at you. It's also weirdly noisy and I can feel unpleasant vibrations in the pan handle at higher power levels The slide touch controls are clunky especially with damp fingers.

Top class
Effective, responsive, precision it's just brilliant and fast on the p setting. Boiling water in pot is so fast. I was making a fried egg on toast and cracked the egg into frying pan turned around to put bread in toaster and egg was cooked. Amazing best product I have bought in years I love it.

Thank you for your enquiry.
The AEG TN64IA04FB requires a worktop cut-out of 560 mm × 490 mm.
Based on the dimensions you have provided (565 mm × 483 mm), the aperture depth is approximately 7 mm less than required.
Therefore, the hob would not be recommended for installation into the existing cut-out without modification to the worktop.
We recommend using a qualified electrician for installation. This model is typically connected directly to your home’s electrical supply (not a standard plug socket), often requiring connection to a dedicated circuit.
This model is a Hardwired connection only- therefore requires an electrician to install.
