Lovely kettle, lovely price
Wanted a plain white kettle (not that easy to find anymore), fast boil, with a handle on the side as opposed to on the top. This fits the bill exactly & it's a very reasonable price. Good make, I have other Russell Hobbs products that I'm happy with, It's a nice looking kettle, it's light, quiet,does the job, & I don't want to spend a fortune - it's a kettle!!

My new kettle love it, pours like a tea pot lovely sharp black design, holds just enough shows on the outside where to fill. It’s very light and luminous when boiling so you can see the fill line and you can see it for safely too, for the price and a great brand, not loud at all, well recommend.

Very nice kettle
Previously had the same kettle as it matches our toaster. The original one lost the light-up facility and then the filter in the spout disintegrated.... but these two factors didn't stop me replacing like for like as it was over 10 years old and working perfectly well. We are in a hardwater area and limescale does occur so we use a metal kettle fur remover (looks like a brillo pad) which keeps the problem down. New kettle looks great and is easy to use with cup levels identifying where to fill water to making preheating unnecessary.

This is a normal kettle, it does not have any function to help keep water warm for more time.
What is special about this kettle design is the kettle’s internal 1/2/3 cup indicators that let you fill up just the amount of water needed for a brew, so you can Boil One Cup in 43 Seconds (1 cup is equal to 235ml of water). Boiling only the water you need will also allow you to potentially save up to 66% energy (when boiling 1 cup (235ml) only vs 1 litre).
