The Silentnight Lilith Kingsize Fabric Bed Frame gives you a comfortable place to sleep with room for stretching out. It's upholstered in herringbone textured fabric in Stone Grey, practical for daily use and adds softness to your bedroom. There's a padded headboard that supports you when you're sitting up reading or winding down before sleep. The wooden legs lift the frame off the floor and keep everything stable. It's a kingsize layout, so there's space for two people to sleep comfortably.
Adjustable side rails rotate to fit deep or shallow mattresses, so you're not locked into one mattress type. The wooden slatted base spreads weight evenly and lets air circulate underneath, reducing moisture build-up. Wooden legs provide steady support through daily use. It arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Supports a combined user weight up to 220kg. Includes a 5 year parts and labour guarantee.

Not perfect
The bed feels strong and the external finish is good. There are a number of points to note. The parts of the bed on the inside and to the rear of the headboard are covered in a white coloured material and I can see this potentially become dirty very easily. I would have expected a black coloured material to be more of an appropriate covering which may not be prone to show any marks as easy. The reversible side rails are a very good idea as there can be used to take a shallow or deep mattress. Although the bed purchased was a double, the double mattress fits very snuggly into the frame. I was disappointed with the finishing on the internal side of one the side rails as the cotton material was not stapled tightly and the staples have effectively gone through the material creating staple size holes in the material. This will clearly become worse as the bed sheets are tucked in / out and I can see this becoming a problem later on. The material used is quite thin and I would have expected a more resilient to be used. The bed has a good guarantee. The bed also has flat pieces of wood for the base which is a first for the bed frames we have previously purchased. Previous beds frames have had slightly curved ribs on the base which give some flex. I would advise anyone looking at the bed frame to look at the assembly instructions video on the Silentnight website before making a purchase. This gives a full view of the bed in terms of the content of each of the three packs it arrived in. It shows slats provided for the for the base and the colour of the cotton material used on the inner bed. For the price with the Argos code used, it is a fair price for the quality of the bed.
