Bought this a few weeks ago for my room. Needed something that can be used as a bedside lamp and a desk lamp without too much fuss. This is perfect for it. The way the head of the lamp can be positioned in pretty much any direction is a handy feature I didn't expect it to have, but I'm very pleased it does. It's high quality, lightweight and a gorgeous colour. I do recommend finding a smaller round bulb for this lamp though as the more pointed ones stick out a bit.

It is best used with a globe bulb. The shape is just a recommendation for this lamp, as there is technically no restriction on bulb shape for this lamp, however, if you use a candle bulb, the bulb may protrude past the edge of the shade.
