The Argos Home Abigail Single Metal Bed Frame gives you a proper night's sleep and a daytime lounging spot rolled into one. The three-sided frame design means you can pile on cushions and use it as a sofa when friends come round or you fancy a lazy afternoon. It's a white steel frame with corner posts, clean lines that suit most bedroom styles. The metal frame keeps things sturdy and stable, while the base slats provide even support for your mattress.
There's over 30cm of space underneath, so you can slide storage boxes, bags or spare bedding out of sight and keep the floor clear. The side rail sits at a comfortable height for getting in and out easily. Self-assembly with two people recommended, and it comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind. Great value for money.
I’m very pleased with the Abigail metal single day bed I bought. Particularly joyful is that there are no wooden slats on the base because the metal bars are so much stronger. A very clever and speedy system for putting everything together and the delivery man was on time and very helpful.

Good buy, easy to assemble (but you’ll need a friend) and solid. So far so good. The frame is fine but I’d recommend a decent mattress as the frame has no give in it

Excellent value
I bought this as a substitute couch while I save up for a real one. Very easy build - did it in about an hour. This is marketed as an occasional bed so although it’s sturdy, it’s a little bit creaky on the back rail. Nothing major though. Got it in the sale so a total bargain but would still be worth it at full price. I bought a 29cm memory foam mattress which is so comfy but it is very deep. I would probably buy a slightly thinner mattress to get the full resting benefit of the arm and back rails.

Lovely daybed
Bought this bed as a spare bed for a spare room. It fits perfectly. I had to be careful choosing as my space was very limited but it fits perfectly. It feels sturdy and is really comfy as a sofa. Hasn't been slept in yet but feels like it will be comfy. Good value for money and looks good. I put it together by myself but would have been very easy and quicker with two people. I did struggle to put the clips in that keep the slats in place as I have arthritis in my fingers so I did get my husband to help with that! Very pleased and would recommend.

Good bed
I bought this a couple months ago now, and my daughter still loves it. We bought another bed LIKE this from another shop and it did not last a year the slats were broken but with this bed from Argos its still standing and been told that she is happy and feels comfortable.

Abigail Single bed frame.
Bought this for spare room, it's absolutely perfect in every respect. More off white than white but perfect nonetheless. Highly recommend it. Bought in sale too, so very happy. Also very well packaged, came with everything you need to build it up (that was also very easy).

Nice and sturdy bed frame
Bought as a Christmas present for my elderly mum. She has been very happy with it. Her bed can now be against a wall which has given her additional floor space in her room. There is a hood gap under it for vacuum cleaning without having to manoeuvre a heavy bed.
