After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Energizer 60 Lumen Metal LED Torch: ''This torch has actually been updated to an improved 90 Lumen version (we should have the details updated on the site soon).
The torch has a 25hr run time with the batteries supplied. They can then be changed for new batteries once they have run out.''

The supplier has advised the following for the Energizer 60 Lumen Metal LED Torch:
This is now a 90 Lumen version. It has a 25 hour run time and up to a 45 meter beam width (in high mode), providing 4x brighter light than standard LED technology.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Energizer 60 Lumen Metal LED Torch: The batteries supplied with the torch are our energizer Max AA batteries. Those cells have a 10 year shelf life.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they say - provided the batteries are the correct size, Nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries can be used in this torch.
The mAh of the batteries would effect run time vs what may be displayed on the pack as they are usually given based on using Alkaline batteries.
