Miele quality and performance
This is a great little vacuum for those who don't have room to store an upright but want the power of a brush roller. It replaced my old Miele after many years service and they have only got better. Also being corded means no waiting for a battery to charge. The good points: Bagless with a great filtration system - very easy to empty. The suction power is amazing - I thought my carpets were clean before but this gets everything. Easy to manoeuvre Long cord Lightweight Easy to dismantle for storage Variable suction for rugs/hard floor etc Variable handle length - great for shorties and those over 6ft The bad points: The onboard tools are stored on top of the handle - impossible to hold handle and vacuum so I keep those in a drawer. They should be on the main body of the machine out of the way. Brush roller cannot be removed completely - we are a house with a lot of hair (human and cats) so cutting the hair involves taking scissors to the rollers to remove it. Would be easier if the roller could be removed completely from head.

Fantastic Vacum.
Bought this hoover as my old one was on its last legs. The main reason for my choice was that it has one of the most powerful motors of any domestic hoover on the market and believe me it certainly shows with the suction it can produce, especially on the highest setting. The large wheels make it east to pull along and with an extra long power cord your not having to unplug it as often. This model comes with a turbo brush which is excellent on the high setting.The dirt container is easy to empty and the filters are also easily replaceable. After 16 years our old Miele had to be retired. The Boost CX1 is fabulous. Lighter than our old model which was also a cat and dog vacuum and just as efficient, it does the job. Here's to another 16 years. 🤞

Perfect performance
Having had uprights for the past decades, I wanted a vacuum which could access beneath tables etc without having to change attachments. Having read reviews I made my choice. Great performance. Simple to operate. Easy to empty. Shorter cable is no problem. Simply plug in in whichever room needs vacuuming and no entangling of excessive length of cable.

A disappointment
I expect better from Miele ! Very flimsy and plastic seems not very sturdy! The hose keeps unlocking and doesn't seem to stay attached properly. I will contact Miele to report the fault to the hover. Very disappointed.

Overall: Good suction but too expensive
I’ve been using the Miele for a while now and the suction is definitely good — no complaints on performance. However, considering the high price, I expected a bigger improvement over my 12-year-old Electrolux. Surprisingly, the suction power feels about the same. What really stands out (in a negative way) is the noise level. My old Electrolux was noticeably quieter, while the Miele is a bit too loud for my liking. Overall, it works well, but for the high price I expected stronger suction and a quieter operation. Not sure it justifies the cost.

Super pleased with my new Miele Boost. Great suction. Good on carpets and hard floors. Great for cat hairs. Easy to clean the filter each month (and well worth doing this as it keep the suction working !) Easy to empty after use. Would recommend.

Ignore the answer from Argos. This is a bagless machine. The chamber comes out with the click of a handle and is easy to empty. No need for any bags.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Miele Boost CX1 Cat & Dog Pet Corded Vacuum Cleaner.
The CX1 Boost C&D works just as good as any of our vacuums on thick pile carpet and yes the power level is controllable on the vacuum and on the handle.

They have an attachment that holds all the tools which attaches to the handle of the hose.
Personally, I don't use this as it makes it too bulky to use.
It is a Brilliant Hoover and really easy to empty the waste.
