Lovely Iron too short cable from my previous iron
Fabulous Iron to replace my Philips I had owned for 7 years, I contacted Philips before I purchased this iron as I had read so many complaints about the length of the cable now only being 2 meter long to see if they had listened to their customers and rectified the situation but no the lady said they were not planning on going back to a 2.5 meter cable, which is a shame as I now have to use my iron with an extension cable which is a pain, but I do love the iron. Philips wake up and read all the negative comments about the length of the cable and get it sorted please, I love Philips irons and I stayed true to you, but maybe next time I may not

Short lead
Iron is OK but very short power lead ruins it

Makes ironing easy
I bought this product because I was very happy with my previous Phillips iron. I have not been disappointed in it's performance as it glides easily over even linen fabrics removing creases effortlessly. I feel i need to make minimum effort for maximum effect. The only design feature I find not as good as the rest is that as the iron is dark coloured it can be difficult to see the water level. That said I am still very pleased at how well it performs.

Great iron cable too short

Returned
I bought this iron as my previous Philips iron needed replacing. Though a newer model and the overall reviews are high, it's biggest failing is a short length cable/flex. When plugged into the socket, it barely allows you to iron and move freely. It requires the use an extension cable. My last iron had an extra long cable. So check the different models before purchasing.

Not happy
You can not see how much water is in with being black and the cable is short. Very poor

Poor iron lead
We purchased the same iron previous series and loved it so, as it was not steaming properly after several years decided to buy updated model. Unfortunately they decided to reduce the electric lead so it is now difficult to iron. We will have to buy an extension to make it easier to use. Very disappointed. Why do this and make it harder to use?

Great iron, with good weight.
Very happy with the new iron. Took over from my last dropped iron. Great improved model works perfectly and very useful steam and anti calcium bits. Would recommend.
