Excellent Coffee Machine
Bought this machine a month ago and am very pleased with the coffee it produces. Great flavour, great crema, great foaming with lots of adjustability.

10/10 home machine
2nd barista pro - other one folded after 6 years. The perfect home machine. Grinder can be a bit inconsistent but again for a home all in one it ticks every box for me.

Good looking but Inconsistent
It's a good looking machine and on the surface has everything you need but it is very inconsistent, the grind varies most of the time and so does the shot. If you always have your coffee with steamed milk then less of an issue. It suits me at the moment because of the size and the looks but it's you want consistent expresso you're going to need patience and scales.

Not what I expected
I think my expectations were too high when I bought this machine, although it looks great and was very expensive it does not deliver the taste of a real barrista coffee as the name suggests. It’s rather light and plasticky, the steamer is way too loud and the hot water dispenser is very odd. The auto grind doesn’t really work, have to push and hold the whole time you are grinding. Kinda underwhelmed to be honest. Doesn’t even go near the Gaggia quality.

I'm loving my Barista Pro in matte black—it's sleek and performs amazingly! The milk frothing is perfect, and the espresso tastes incredible. Super easy to use, everything's spot on except pouring latte art 😂 (still learning but it’s not down to sage ). Highly recommend!

Good, once you find out how to use it.
It comes will little in the way of instructions: it sends you on-line to look at videos, and the basic video does not show you everything. In particular, the use of the grinder is not easy to find (I think I looked at 6 videos before I stumbled across the information), and I spent a day manually timing the grind until I found the bit that said "push and release to get a timed grind". It makes good coffee, and the milk steamer does a good job. Sage need to produce an on-line manual that covers all the features of the machine; I, and I am sure many people, don't want to spend ages watching videos to find the bit of information that could be found in 1/10 of the time by skimming a written manual. The videos are good for getting guidance on getting the best from the machine, but not for getting information on all the features. If the user documentation on-line was comprehensive, then I would have given this 5*.

Fabulouse looking, easy to use and great espresso
I bought my new Barista Pro to replace my much loved and enjoyed first Barista Pro that I purchased 5 years ago. It makes a great espresso and once you find your perfect set up is so easy to use, I love it. I chose the brushed stainless steel for my second machine which looks fabulous - my first machine was black truffle. Just one small but with the new machine, it doesn't feel quite as sturdy and when producing the espresso it vibrates and this makes the cup move on the drip tray. Very small detail and not a big deal at all.
