About this product
Silentnight's Middleton collection includes a practical base with a stylish merlin headboard and the Middleton comfort mattress. It is an 800 pocket sprung mattress with a medium feel which is great for protecting the back, yet soft enough to sink into sleep with comfort. It also includes layers of Comfort Breathe fibres which provides extra support to allow natural airflow, the mattress is finished with a soft knit cover for added comfort through the night. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
Ideal for hot sleepers, this mattress is designed to keep air flowing so you can stay cooler and comfier from the moment your head hits the pillow to the moment you wake up. Silentnight's Comfort Breathe fibres bring you incredible comfort that won't cost the planet or your pocket. Combined with zoned mirapocket support system, allowing you to move freely throughout the night. The mattress is finished with a soft knit cover, perfect for sleepers who prefer a smoother sleep surface and medium feel.
The padded headboard offers added comfort when sitting up in bed and is decoratively detailed with deep vertical lines and a sea shell shape for a contemporary twist on a classic design.

Just what we were looking for, for our spare room.
Good quality bed and mattress, nice to be able to buy both together at a sale price. Two useful drawers for storage. Delivered as planned within the time slot by a 2 man team and placed where we asked. The bed was slightly damaged , a rip in the fabric on one corner but this was easily fixed using an extra piece of fabric which came with the bed so no need to return or replace as the area can't be seen. Overall, happy with our purchase, the colour is lovely and the bed itself was easy to build although we did trim the wood on the headboard as it was far to high when fitted but this was easy to do.

Yes, this would be suitable for a child to use. The mattress is tested to a weight of 15 stones, and contains our Eco Comfort fibres, which are foam and chemical free.

Yes it is removable. It's not a structural part of the divan sections, it fits onto the back via some large screw in bolts and you could use the bed without it if you so wished to.
