About this product
The Silentnight Middleton single divan bed gives you somewhere to sleep and store bedding in one compact parcel. It's built for smaller bedrooms where you need to make the most of the space. The set includes a fabric-covered base with two storage drawers, a padded headboard, and a memory foam mattress that works together for restful sleep and tidy storage. The 800 pocket springs in the mattress move independently to support your body, while a layer of memory foam moulds to your shape and relieves pressure. The medium firm feel supports your back without feeling too rigid.
The two drawers sit on both sides of the base, so you can slide bedding, spare pillows, or seasonal clothes out of sight. Plastic castors let you move the bed when you need to clean or rearrange. The padded headboard attaches to the base and features deep vertical lines with a shell shape for a contemporary look. It's upholstered in fabric and gives you comfortable support when you sit up to read or watch telly. The mattress has a no-turn design, so you just rotate it regularly to even out wear. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended for setup.

I bought this single bed for my teenage son its the best bed we've ever bought. Bottom base came in 1 piece ,headboard easy to assemble. Mattress very comfortable. Would definitely buy again.

Faulty Base sent with bed
When opening out the silent night double bed one have of base is faulty. The stapels that are under the sheet of fabric on top of the bed are all sticking up, not been correctly stapeled. The drawer is faulty, big gap at side when closed, material at corner of drawer damaged and inside the drawer at one side warped and other side glued with gaps as a result when you clip both bases together there is a gap as one half is a reject. I have bought 4 of these exact beds in the past for all my rooms and never have i been sent one in this state. Can't believe it got past quality control. My daughter was without a bed for 3 weeks as we were decorating her room and this is her birthday present so we had no choice but to use it. Just hope the stapels don't damage the mattress through time. Paid the extra for 4 drawers aswell but can't use one. Would never buy another one. Not what you expect from a company SilentNight. Really disapointing

Comfy bed with headboard
The divan, headboard and mattress are great! I’ve ordered Silentnight beds before and the quality is great. However, on arrival one of the drawers was damaged, possibly in transit. Once I’d managed to get hold of someone from Argos customer services they did offer me an exchange for the entire divan.

Perfect bed
I bought a super kingsize bed and it was perfect so also bought a double. The delivery guys were fantastic too. On the double bed there was a hole in the headboard but a replacement was sent within 3 days. The mattress is med to firm but very very comfortable

Great all round bed!
Very easy to order, quick and convenient delivery options, good price with deal, bought for 18 yr old son who has outgrown his double bed and it’s so much better. Looks great, secure assembly and good quality. This is actually the second one of these we have purchased having some years ago got the same one for our other son - both our kids are well over 6 foot. Both are very happy, find the beds comfy and fit them so much better! Assembly gets 4 stars but that’s only to do with the plastic clips that hold the two bases together as they are super tight and not sure I’d have been able to push them on without my husband. It does however mean the bases are really secure once they are in place so it’s actually a good thing…but I personally just wasn’t strong enough!! Over all would recommend this bed.

The headboard can be adjusted to the height of the mattress, as it needs to sit on top of the mattress.
The minimum height would depend on the depth of the mattress.
