I can confirm the following on the Remington Wet & Dry Cordless Lady Shaver WSF4840:
The light stays on while it is in the cradle regardless if it's fully charged or not, this has built in over charge protection so won't overcharge the device. The light only turns off when the shaver is removed from the cradle.
