Suitable for whole family
I bought this last month and my husband and I are happy with this purchase. We bought this so we could calculate our household expenses regularly in order to ensure we're budgeting efficiently. The larger buttons make it much clearer to deal with a lot of figures when analysing household different expenses. Our young children also like to use it, especially when checking their calculations after completing their maths homework! Overall, great calculator to use for the whole family in our household.

It shuts off automatically after about 10 minutes 30 seconds.
I bought an MX12-B today and could not work it out either, nothing helpful on the internet.
I went out, and when I came back it was off.
So I set a separate electric timer and measured it.
A rather random 10 minutes 30 seconds was the result!
