Good Casio quality at an affordable price
Purchased this after buying a similar, non-branded basic calculator from a supermarket, that turned out to have a dodgy key. This Casio was only a few pounds more in price but is so much more reliable and functional for all my needs as an accounting student, especially conforming to exam standards. It reads clearly and is always reliable with its solar powered battery. My only criticism is that the layout has a double-nought (00) sat next to the nought (0) and I have to be always mindful not to hit it by mistake when performing lots of calculations.

cannot change the battery.
I bought this calculator 1week ago, it works fine no problems there but, dissapointed to realise that you have to reurn the calculator to change the battery. there is no access to the battery without removing the case and follwing a special procedure. That is a dissapointment.

Good Casio calculator
The Casio calculator works well although they have changed the configuration of the buttons which confuses the user. I made a mistake for the collection address so I tried to contact Argos and both their chatline and phone number given are useless to obtain information. All in all I will continue to use Argos in the future.

Great use for simple calculations
I brought this calculator for my accounting course since you need a simple calculator and not an expensive one.The calculator always give me correct answers and not wrong answers. So far it lasted about more than 8 months and still it works like it brand new.

It shuts off automatically after about 10 minutes 30 seconds.
I bought an MX12-B today and could not work it out either, nothing helpful on the internet.
I went out, and when I came back it was off.
So I set a separate electric timer and measured it.
A rather random 10 minutes 30 seconds was the result!
