Good product at a good price.
Bought for when our grandchild visits. We didn’t need a video monitor, just wanted to be sure that we would know when they wake up as my hearing is not as good as it used to be. The fact that the receiver also has a visual indicator is therefore a useful feature for me. Having both parts plugged into the mains relieves worries that the battery may go flat.

Monitor & light projector
Bought this a few weeks ago for when my grandson stays with me. Loved that the monitor has a little projector in it that projects stars & moon to the ceiling. Had planned to buy a projector light so was very pleased to find this vtech monitor that had it all incorporated. It's nice & small & works perfectly well. Shows if room.is too hot & picks up sounds. Haven't needed to use the microphone aspect yet. Very pleased with the monitor & expect that it will serve me well. Always liked vtech products when my own children were younger. Competitive price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vtech DM1212 Digital Audio Baby Monitor: ''All VTech baby units, including audio, video and smart models are mains powered only, this to avoid the risk of the battery running out and you not being aware and thus not able to monitor your baby/child.''

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vtech DM1212 Digital Audio Monitor with Light & Projection: ''The VTech DM1212 has default temperature alert settings of +24 degrees for the high temperature and +16 degrees for the low temperature, which can both be changed.
The temperature alerts can be turned off.''
